Frances Parker School
Founded in 1912, Francis Parker School is San Diego's oldest and largest independent, non-denominational, co-educational day school. In 2008, Francis Parker was recognized in the Wall Street Journal for being a top school that sends its students to prestigious colleges and in 2011, CBS Moneywatch named it one of the best Ivy League feeder schools on the West Coast.
Organized and lead a six-month process to the select the design team (Lake|Flato) for several new buildings that would not only replace temporary structures, but also create a new central campus.
As part of developing the Request for Proposal (RFP), a set of campus design guidelines, architectural and landscape, was created, and subsequently approved by the administration and board, to set standards for both the competition and other future renovations and new developments on campus.
